Poly(L-lactide-glycolide), PLGA

Poly(L-lactide-glycolide), PLGA

English Name: Poly(L-lactide-glycolide), PLGA

Product Features and Applications: PLGA (poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)) is a copolymer of lactic acid and glycolic acid. Depending on its composition, it can be either semi-crystalline or amorphous. It is a biodegradable polymer that ultimately degrades into carbon dioxide and water in the body. It has been widely used in absorbable screws, 3D-printed scaffolds, drug microsphere carriers, and other applications.

Storage: During storage, avoid contact with water, acids, alkalis, alcohols and other reagents that may cause product degradation. Keep vacuum-sealed, dry and at low temperature.

Customisation Service: Product properties can be customised according to the required in vivo complete absorption time of PLGA copolymer medical device products.
